An old and a very well know saying ‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness’, has become really old I guess, that doesn’t hold any water anymore. People today just disregard what they are supposed to do. This photo here is a sample of 1 year’s worth of junk. This is my neighborhood.
No proper maintenance of roads, street lights, nor trash collectors. This is how it works here in my locality. We don’t get clean water neither to drink nor to clean yourself. The color of water is more of greenish-grey that doesn’t make you feel good. The cleaning of stagnant water is not done here and is left to dry on its own, which takes atleast 4 to 5 months to dry and quite enough for breeding mosquitoes and all weird and new diseases and allergies. Negligence by the responsible authorities is high here… When will the authorities take responsibility to make the public co-operate with them to clean up these stuffs?
Think about it with just 80 households here the junk is this much but this place can hold approximately 250 to 300 households, what will be the situation then? Thinking about it is itself scary..
When will the people realize the that they are not just harming the soil but they are leaving a very unhealthy environment for the next generation? My area and neighborhood is just an example there are several other localities in city and villages that are left to rot and needs the concerned authorities attention to help the public.
